EM emerged as a place where friends gathered — in a historic St. Petersburg apartment on the Moika, with a quiet atmosphere and a gentle, unhurried rhythm. Architect Mikhail Barkhin uncovered its historical layers, filling the interior with objects one might find in the study of an inquisitive scientist, a
Leningrad art historian, or an architecture student. The theatre of the kitchen is built around a cast iron AGA oven that never goes out. The set menu changes every three months, year after year. Over the course of our history, we have built a unique culinary archive — dozens of set menus and over eight hundred
recipes.

From May 29 to June 29, we are serving a set menu in collaboration with the brand chef of Belcanto — José Avillez's flagship restaurant in Lisbon's Chiado and one of the defining restaurants of modern Portugal. Here, the cuisine sounds like the chef's personal song — with nods to the Atlantic, the light of
Lisbon, and the flavours of childhood. Belcanto holds two Michelin stars and is listed among The World's 50 Best Restaurants.
